I have been wanting to create complete drawings again instead of just doing sketches and quick studies. So I set out to create this piece even though I hardly have any more than an hour a day to draw. It took me about 5 weeks to do this, and there were one or two times where I thought I would never finish. But then as of yesterday, "voila", it was done. It was somewhat anti-climatic, but that is fine. I feel grateful for the result, and I have more confidence in my ability to stay focused and disciplined when working over a longer period of time. I shall now start painting, which is what I told myself I'd do if I had finished this piece.

DEAN! What a great drawing! holy crap, with the amount of time you draw, and the amount I draw, I think I should just throw in the towel! Keep it up, man!
Is this done by pencil? I looked at it again, it is truly a very nice piece of artwork. I am very proud of you, especially now with Eva in your life and you still able to finish an outstanding drawing! It is not easy but I do want see more of those coming...
